Nuclear energy programmes, in a growth phase, do not give any nuclear energy year after year to society outside the nuclear industry. So this 15700 MW nuke program will be a net energy consumer for at least three decades from now(2018). See Reference 0.

The n-wastes for a 1
GW nuke fission reactor (for 10000 reactor years of operation) require 6
million MW-y to 600 million MW-y of thermal energy for their storage, steel containers and
maintenance for a million to a 100 million years. But such a capacity nuke for 10000
reactor years produces only 6 million MW-y of electrical energy! So all the
energy produced by 1GW nuclear reactors for 10000 reactor years goes towards
storing the nuclear wastes for only 1 million years. Hundred times this is
required to store the wastes for 100 million years! So there is absolutely no
net output to society outside the nuclear industry from such nukes.
3.0 The only crucial role nukes play in modern civilization(MC) is in MC's own destruction, referring to the fact of its unacceptable safety features.
There are a number of grave self destructive generic design features of nukes which can never be pretested like whether a loss of coolant accident will be averted as hopefully expected. The khudkushi of MC doesnot stop at this. Other parts of MC vie with one another to commit suicide as well as to deliver a shocking blow to nukes like the world's dams which by a nuclear effect caused many a nuke catastrophe: the waste storage explosion and release of radioactive plume at Kyshtym(1957), Windscale Fire(1957), the Three Mile Island 58% coremelt (1979), Chernobyl coremelt(1986) and plume of radionuclides, the Narora Fire(1993), the 2004 Andaman-Sumatra Bay great earthquake and tsunami, Kashiwasaki Kariwa nuclear damage and decommissioning(2007),The Fukushima explosions, triple core melt and radioactivity contamination and ongoing worldwide extinction process of 2011, the Kedarnath landslide and floods(2013), the WIPP catastrophe(2013-14), the Hudhud cyclone(2014) which destroyed Vishakapatnam and its defence bases and had the potential to melt Kovvada into many Kovas, the Jammu Kashmir floods(2014), the Assam floods(2014), the total crushing of the Kakrapara freshly replaced heavy water coolant pipes(2015 and 2016) and many more to come. MC undoes life and so we must go normal and respect nature by harmonising with her as the bottomline.

Why there is the ready made sun waiting to unleash creativity sufficiently safely 150 million kilometers from the earth and at infinite efficiency on the planet earth because we need not mine any ores for energy! Instead by unleashing fission and the millions of terawatts powered surges of the world's dams(necessary for nukes to function because they are base loaded blockheads) on MC we are hurtling towards Pralaya. With normal civilization, we can release lakhs of crores of INRs for wasteless living creating work for all and for preservation and regeneration of forests for all time. And in the process fulfill our karma by causing the genesis and support of all life.
There exist only wild people who destroy land which is the homeland of all lives. They are the supporters of modern civilization's NPAs.

Abstract
Applying the precautionary
principle, a research was undertaken by me on the characteristics of world
fatal cancers as a function of cumulative uranium mining and compared the
findings with those for the cancers in Southern Karnataka districts and the estimated
uranium(1) used in the HEU plant RMP at Mysore. The findings in both instances
are significant and requires informed independent authorities in the community
to confirm these findings asap. Till then such activities, by the precautionary
principle must be halted.
